GERS ANNOUNCES A “TRANSITIONING FROM WORK TO RETIREMENT” WORKSHOP

GERS will host a Transitioning from Work to Retirement Workshop on Wednesday, May 17.
The Government Employees’ Retirement System invites its members to participate in a Transitioning from Work to Retirement Workshop. This workshop is geared towards members who have six (6) months to one (1) year before they retire.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 17TH
GERS COMPLEX – 2ND FLOOR TRAINING ROOM
KRONPRINDSENS GADE, ST. THOMAS, VI
8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Members will participate in a timely and interactive workshop aimed at helping to navigate the retirement process. Workshop topics include:
·Gers Benefits
·United Health Care Coverage/Health Insurance Coverage
·Taxes
·Medicare
