The Government Employees Retirement System (GERS) announces that because of unforeseen issues which we observed during the user acceptance testing of the new pension and benefits (loans) system; it has become necessary to close our offices in both districts. We are working vigorously with the software provider to correct these programming errors, and continue to test and re-test the system’s logic.
Services will be provided during the months of December, 2011 and January, February and March 2012 as follow:
Loans
Member Services (Benefits)
Monday – Wednesday 8:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Full services will resume on Monday March 12, 2012 at 8:00a.m.
