GERS Temporarily Suspends Loan Applications in Parts of September 2012

The Government Employees’ Retirement System wishes to inform all its members and retirees that loan applications will not be processed from Monday, September 17 through Friday, September 28, 2012. This temporary suspension is necessary to allow for maintenance on the loan portfolio and the closing of accounts for fiscal year 2012.
