GERS to Conduct Member Assistance Outreach

The Government Employees’ Retirement System will conduct a member outreach to assist active and retired members with registering for the System’s new line of business.

The Government Employees’ Retirement System will conduct a member outreach to assist active and retired members with registering for the System’s new line of business. This feature, known as Member Self-Serve (MSS) will give members on-line access to their GERS account.  GERS representatives will be at the following locations and viNGN Public Computer Centers between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon as follows:

St. Thomas

  • July 8   Department of Labor
  • July 9 Charles W. Turnbull Library
  • July 11 Kirwan Terrace Housing Community Office
St. Croix
  • July 15 GERS Office – Orange Grove
  • July 16 Athalie McFarlane Petersen Public Library – F’sted
  • July 17 Department of Labor – Sion Farm, C’sted
St. John
  • July 25 VI Legislature – Cruz Bay
Once registered, members will have the ability to:
  • Complete annuity estimates
  • View/update your personal information
  • View your account contributions
  • Access/update beneficiary information
  • View your annuity check stub
  • and much more
“This is a great platform for members to have access to their account information which will help with facilitating regular GERS business as well as assist with retirement planning.  We are also very pleased that we were able to partner with the Virgin Islands Next Generation Network (viNGN) to make this outreach possible for our members.
