GERS Announces September 2015 Financial Literacy Workshop

GERS invites members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop on September 23rd on St. Thomas.
The Government Employees' Retirement System invites its members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop:
Wednesday, September 23, 2015
GERS Complex - 2nd Floor, Training Room
St. Thomas, Virgin Islands
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The objective of the workshop is to empower participants to take a more active role in developing a financial life-plan by means of education. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they will have an opportunity to:
- Assess where they are today;
- Explore investment options;
- Look at the impact of life events on their finances; and
- Develop an action plan.
