Retiree Bonus Payment Delayed

Annual VI Lottery bonus payment to retirees, delayed.
GERS Administrator Austin Nibbs wishes to advise retirees that the Annual VI Lottery Bonus payment normally issued around Thanksgiving will be delayed.
This delay is due to the recent hurricanes which impacted our system, as well as we are awaiting receipt of the fourth quarter payment from the Lottery. A press release will be issued to let retirees know when the bonus will be paid.
We thank you for your understanding and wish the entire Virgin Islands Community a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving on behalf of the GERS Board of Trustees, the management, and staff.
