  Retiree Benefits -- Regular Annuity Check Deduction

REGULAR ANNUITY CHECK DEDUCTIONS

The following deductions may be made from an annuity check : 

1. Retirement Loans (personal, automobile, mortgage, land) 

2. Credit Union (STT Federal, Christiansted, Mid-Island, Frederiksted) 

3. Child Support (VirginIslands Department of Justice/Paternity & Child Support) 

4. Health and Life Insurance (WAPA, VIHA, Group Health Insurance) 

5. MASA 

6. Commoloco 

7. First Express 

8. Federal Income Taxes 

Please note that the following deductions are not automatic: Credit Union, MASA, and Health. A Tax form W4-P may be completed at GERS and anyone in the Benefits Section will be able to assist. To continue with these deductions, a retiree is required to complete a new application at the respective offices.
