GERS Administrator Angel Dawson Jr. is pleased to announce that the Annual Virgin Islands Lottery Bonus
payments have been processed and will be issued to 7,669 eligible retirees by Friday, December 5, 2025.
Retirees aged 60 and older who have been on the retirement payroll for at least one year, as well as all
disability annuitants on the payroll for at least one year, are eligible to receive a net bonus payment of
$231.00 after taxes.
Administrator Dawson further recognizes and sincerely thanks the Virgin Islands Lottery Executive
Director, Raymond Williams, and his team for enabling the payment of this annual bonus, as per
legislation.
Payments will be issued using the customary method through which retirees receive their annuity
payments from the Government Employees’ Retirement System. Eligible employees are encouraged to
check Member Self Service for their bonus details.
