GERS Annual Bonus Payment to Retirees

In accordance with Bill No. 28-0020 (Act No. 7070), the GERS will make the annual bonus payment less 25% withholding taxes on Friday, November 22, 2013.
St. Thomas/St. Croix, VI –
In accordance with Bill No. 28-0020 (Act No. 7070), the GERS will make the annual bonus payment less 25% withholding taxes on Friday, November 22, 2013 to annuitants and pensioners who are not less than 60 years of age, and have been receiving an annuity for at least 1 year.
The GERS received $1,091,093.91 from the Virgin Islands Lottery to make the annual bonus payment to the retirees. The GERS would like to thank the Virgin Islands Lottery for keeping its commitment to the retirees.
