GERS Advises Retirees to Contact Division of Personnel Regarding Health Insurance Deduction

GERS Administrator, Austin L. Nibbs, would like to advise retirees that they should contact the Division of Personnel - Group Health Insurance Office with any questions pertaining to their Health Insurance deduction, as all deduction amounts are sent to the GERS from Personnel.

Nibbs, would like to advise retirees that they should contact the Division of Personnel - Group Health Insurance Office with any questions pertaining to their Health Insurance deduction, as all deduction amounts are sent to the GERS from Personnel. For more information, retirees should contact the Division of Personnel at 774-8588 – St. Thomas or 718-0341 – St. Croix.
Also, retirees are reminded that unless otherwise advised, annuity pay dates are the 15th and end of each month. Thus, the next scheduled pay date is Tuesday, December 31st . “We’ve been receiving a number of calls from retirees inquiring as to when they will be paid. I would like to assure retirees who receive direct deposit that their annuity payments will be in their designated accounts on December 31st . We sincerely regret any inconvenience and wish our members a New Year filled with peace, happiness and good health,” said Mr. Nibbs.
