GERS Announces March 2016 Financial Literacy Workshop

First Financial Literacy workshop for 2016 scheduled to be held February 9 on St. Thomas at the GERS Complex.
The Government Employees' Retirement System invites its members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop:
Wednesday, March 9, 2016
GERS Complex, 2nd Floor - Training Room
St. Thomas, Virgin Islands
8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The objective of this workshop is to empower participants to take a more active role in developing a financial life-plan by means of education. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they will have an opportunity to:
- Assess Where They are Today
- Explore Investment Options
- Look at the Impact of Life Events on their Finances
- Develop an Action Plan
