June 2016 Financial Literacy Workshop Scheduled

GERS announces a Financial Literacy Workshop scheduled for Wednesday, June 8 on St. Croix.

The Government Employees' Retirement System invites its members to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop:

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8, 2016

GERS OFFICE – TRAINING ROOM

#3004 ORANGE GROVE, ST. CROIX, VI

8:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

The objective of this workshop is to empower participants to take a more active role in developing a financial life-plan by means of education. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they will have an opportunity to:

• Assess where they are today
• Explore investment options
• Look at the impact of life events on their finances
• Develop an action plan
