PUBLIC NOTICE: CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOTEL
(Tuesday, September 19, 2023)
Pursuant to the special conditions of CZM Permit No. CZT-10-22(L), the Government Employees’ Retirement System, in conjunction with Haven Development, LLC, is pleased to inform residents and stakeholders of the upcoming construction of a five (5) story, 126 room hotel with parking facilities and visitor welcome center.
Pursuant to the special conditions of CZM Permit No. CZT-10-22(L), the Government Employees’ Retirement System, in conjunction with Haven Development, LLC, is pleased to inform residents and stakeholders of the upcoming construction of a five (5) story, 126 room hotel with parking facilities and visitor welcome center. The project is located at Parcel No. 2 and 4 Estate Thomas, 6F and 6B New Quarter, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, within the Havensight Mall site. Construction of the project is scheduled to begin September 29, 2023.
Haven Development, LLC and the Government Employees’ Retirement System (owner of the Havensight Mall) are committed to minimizing disruptions and ensuring public safety throughout the construction period. “We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as we work together to ensure the successful completion of this project and expand much needed hotel capacity for the community”, representatives of Haven Development and the Government Employees’ Retirement System stated.
