Retroactive Check

Retroactive checks are monies owed to a retiree from their effective date of annuity to the date they are placed on the retiree's payroll.  The retroactive payments are processed after the retiree has received his/her first annuity check.  Deductions made from a retroactive annuity check may include GERS loans, contributions due, and Worker's Compensation.
